THE SAINT ANDREWS CIVIC TRUST
Founded in 1973, The Saint Andrews Civic Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the architectural heritage and natural landscape of historic Saint Andrews. The Town of Saint Andrews, settled in 1783, is well over 200 years “young”. From modest beginnings by our Loyalist founders up to the present day, we are stewards of curating the stories which make this community one of National Historic significance as well as ensuring the protection of its built heritage for the education and enjoyment of future generations. For fifty years, The Saint Andrews Civic Trust has played a key role in helping to preserve and protect that story as it is reflected in the historic built heritage of this sea side town, Canada's first National Historic District.
